Submarine by Richard Ayoade

So, I finally saw it. It made promises, and it delivered. The "feel-awkward" coming of age film adapted from Joe Dunthorne's novel employed stunning shots and deft camera techniques. There was also the nostalgic series of handheld shots which added to the tangibility of the movie. Words on Richard Ayoade's debut as a director? Fantastic job, you jokester. Lovely aesthetic, oh, and did I mention the soundtrack was my Alex Turner...
